Customer Selection Bridgespan’s selection of clients was primarily guided by its mission “to strengthen the ability of nonprofit organizations to achieve breakthrough results in addressing society’s most important challenges and opportunities.” (Grossman et al., 2010, p.1). In the pursuit of this goal, it came to realize that the selection criteria must address pertinent challenges that it faced in itself. These were the creation of a market that hitherto didn’t exist and the delivery of services that would make a difference.
